Jamie you will LOVE this!

So Monday I decided it was time to deep clean the bathroom. I have been cleaning it twice a week since being here but not DEEP cleaning it. So I got in my cleaning clothes and scrubbed the bathroom from top to bottom. I organized the cupboards and everything. I took clorox bleach bathroom spray and cleaned the whole place. Well, today before Beau and I went to clean our car Jim informed us that Buster was getting a bath. I was happy about that because that dog was starting to smell. What we didn't know is that he was planning on giving Buster a bath in the bathroom upstairs. So we get home and there is dog hair everywhere! hahaha. I was laughing so hard. So I decided that I needed to re-bleach everything because gross...who wants to shower with Buster? :D :D I just have to tease Jim. When I told him I was going to bleach the bathroom again he said "I washed most the hair down the sink!" Gross! :D :D Love you Jim! Beau swiffered the floor and the wet pad he used was COVERED with brown hair from the dog Jim said "I didn't think of the floor" it was so gross. I had to laugh and I had to post this because don't we all just love Jim?

Winter Wonderland!

We had quite the experience last Wednesday with the HUGE storm that passed through. At least I think it was Wednesday...anyway. Beau was working with Daryl in the cabinet shop when they decided to come home for lunch. The snow was already falling heavily by the time they came over. I ran from the house into the car and we began our journey up to Lorin and Renee's house. First we got stuck in the smiths parking lot. No one would help us! I was so pissed. One guy helped for a second and then he told Daryl that he was screwed and he ran back into Wendy's. I was just so excited because I had never seen that much snow before! We finally got out and then tried to make it up the hill by Acres...that didn't work so we turned around and went a different way home. Beau and I had to push Daryl up the hill about a block and when he rounded the corner he got stuck again! He ran down the road to get Renee's rodeo becuase it has 4-wheel drive and it got stuck so he pulled out the suburban and it got stuck. Luckily a truck pulled over and with a strap got us out. It ended up snowing 2 feet in North Ogden! We were stuck there all day because we couldn't get home. There was so much snow. When I jumped in it I sunk down to my waist. It was amazing. Beau and Daryl built a snow cave and we hung outside all day long. I was sledding and Daryl was suppose to stop me from hitting anything but I ran into the suburban with my head and almost got a concusion...however you spell that. Needless to say it was an eventful day.

Once there was a snowman TALL TALL TALL

Beau and I just have too much fun together. Today we woke to find a blizzard outside. It was wonderful! All during church I couldn't wait to go outside and play in the new fallen snow. I didn't even know i liked winter! Well...I don't really because it's cold but..that's ok. Anyway when we got back from church we quickly changed our clothes, ate lunch, then ran out to build a snowman. He ended up being GIGANTIC! Not as big as some people's but much bigger than anything I've ever made. I made the biggest ball and Beau rolled, one armed, the middle ball. Isn't it cute? I love our big snowman friend.

"hair" today, gone tomorrow

Well....I think I have lost my mind...no really I have! I decided that I needed a hair cut but I didn't know how short. I was going crazy with my hair as long as it was and I wante something in my life to change that I could control. Jen made me an appointment with her friend Jodi because she was going to be coloring Jen's hair at the same time. I went in fully prepared to maybe cut 4 or five inches off but Jen and Jodi decided otherwise. :D I'm so glad that Jen was there with me as we made this big decision.

Before I had much time to argue with Jodi the first cut was made and boy oh boy...it was SHORT! AHHH! I didn't cry I just freaked out. She ended up cutting around 8 or 9 inches instead. Holy crap. What do you think of the end result? Beau wouldn't look at me at first...and then he was in shock for about five hours but after that I think he grew to like it. I've been having a hard time adjusting. I used way way way too much shampoo this morning and I play with my hair a lot more than I used too...oh well...it was time for a change it's just really freaky. I haven't had hair this short in many many many years.

Moving Day... AGAIN!

Well we finally got totally moved out. I want to give a very special thank you to Daryl and Ali Peterson, Michael Peterson, and Jen Gardner. You guys helped us so much I almost got teary eyed when we loaded all those trucks and the van and drove our caravan to the storage unit. Beau is hurt and can't move and you all truly stepped up to the plate to give me some assistance. Thank you guys we love you so much!! You are more than just good friends, you are family. Well we moved out and it was crazy. We loaded up all the stuff in Jen's truck, Daryl's truck, Jens's truck (Thanks Jens THAT WAS A NICE SUPRISE TO HAVE THE TRUCK THERE IN THE MORNING LOVE YOU!!) and the van. Holy cow. With how fast we are moving it only too about 2 1/2 hours to totally clean and pack up then unpack at the storage unit. Very painless. I'm so glad it went so quickly. Now we are staying at mom and dad's house. They are so wonderful to us we are spoiled. Thanks so much we love you guys. YOu mean the world to us! That's all that happened today just a lot of packing and unpacking. I want to say a special thank you to Beau. He did so much today without really doing anything at all. He helped make boxes and carry the blankets and pillows. Also he was VERY good at directing traffic :D Love you baby.

Happy New YEAR!!!!

This New Year's eve was a lot of fun. We were so tired because of our late night snowing extravaganza. We ended up not staying home but instead going to Jen and Brandon's house to make Chinese food. It was a lot of fun! The Chinese food was so good. I made my homemade egg rolls, sweet and sour chicken, lettuce wraps, and pot stickers. We also had tons of dips and chips and veggies and everything you can eat. It was a ton of food. We watched a movie and then played majhong. I can't spell that sorry. It was fun. I don't make new years resolutions because I think you are just setting yourself up for disaster. Instead, I make life goals and then work on one of my life goals for that year. This year my goal is to run a 1/2 marathon in May. I am super excited to reach that goal early in the year and continue to run throughout the year. My other goal is to not go to the doctor until 2009. Beau wants to love me more, get out of debt, and run a marathon. What are your resolutions? Love you all HAPPY 2008!!!

goodness

I would like to begin this blog with a note: I love my husband isn't he the best? I am honestly the luckiest girl ever because I have him to support and love me. Thanks babe!

Second of all...my car broke! The water pump blew up or something and it shredded, yes shredded, my alternator belt....so we had to tow the car from our old apartment to Daryl and Collettes house to see if Daryl could fix it. He couldn't so then Beau and I had to push it back to Mom and Dad's house. Well I did most of the pushing, by choice, because Beau's hand is still healing so it hurts really really bad if it gets cold. Now we have no car. Luckily Dad is letting us use his for a little bit until I can get mine to a shop and find out what is wrong with it now...I'm trying to be positive but slowly drowing.

How much i Love and Appreciate my Wife Amanda

I just wanted to post a quick note to tell Amanda how much I love her and appreciate her. She has done so much for me especially these last few weeks with my handicap hand. I am so glade that I have married her and I am so excited to spent eternity with her. I am so glad that I get to start off this year with her. This has been the best New Years Eve party that I have had and it is because of her. Amanda will talk about the party latter. I love her so much; I love her great personality, eyes, and the way she looks at life, how much she cares for people. I have not meet any one who cares for me so much, with every thing she does for me I feel like I can't do enough for her. I am so very lucky to have found her. Thank you God for bringing her in to my life I really do need her.
