I just wanted to say that Bridget is great. She spent lots of time helping me redesign my blog. Now, maybe, I will have more motivation to actually post....we shall see. :D

This was the first time that Beau taught me how to change my own oil. It was in March of 2007 and we had been dating for about two months at the time. It was really fun to learn how to change your own oil. Look how long Beau's hair was!! Hahaha...

Happy Valentines Day

I love my husband...I know it, He knows it, shoot I believe everyone knows it. I don't need a holiday to express that love because I try to tell him and show him every day. However, it is fun to have a holiday where we can make traditions, be together, and focus only on each other the entire day. Every year since I can remember my mother made us pink heart shaped pancakes for breakfast on Valentines Day. Once February would hit I would get so anxious for those pink pancakes. It was a way that my mom showed us how much she loved us and a way for us to get in the Valentines spirit. When I moved out of the house I started making them Valentines morning for myself/roomates/janece/anyone who wanted to come over. It was a tradition I felt that was important to keep alive. This is the 3rd year I have been able to make breakfast for my darling husband and lets just say, he likes the tradition too. Happy Valentines Day everyone!

Valentines Dance

I am the luckiest girl alive. My darling husband asked me to go to a Sweethearts Dance Thursday night. A chance to get all dressed up and be with Beau? I'll take it! Our stake had a married wards dance and it was such a blast! They had it catered with fondue and finger foods in two rooms and then the dance had a DJ in the cultural hall. It was beautifully decorated with lights and pillars and everything. I should have taken a picture. Anyway, it was such a wonderful evening. I love dancing with Beau. Also, side note, on February 12, 2007 exactly two years ago Beau and I went to a sweethearts singles ward dance for our first official date. We ended up wearing our same outfits we wore then. Can you tell which picture was taken when???

The Van

I know you all have been waiting to see the van in all her glory so here she is. I didn't take any pictures of the inside because it is being used as a storage right now until we can get the van registered (ie. when we have money) so you just get to see the beautiful outside and imagine how wonderful the inside is. I can't wait to go on vacations and drive this thing. :D Thanks Daryl and Ali! Your sweater will be coming in the mail as soon as I learn how to knit a sweater.

Also, for those of you who don't know, we bought a subaru forester. It is a 99 so kind of old but it was a great deal and so we will be able to pay it off this year. We are very blessed to have a vehicle now. It is a manual so...yeah...I don't really drive but I am getting better!

Tax Season

A season that I hate....I can't seem to find the energy to finish my taxes. I also am getting frustrated because we have to file in 2 states AND have to pay for turbo tax to do so??? What the heck is up with that?????
