Outdoor adventure

Last Saturday we decided to take a little family hike. It was wonderful. The leaves were changing colors and the weather was perfect. We only hike about 1 1/2 miles before turning around but, it was well worth the trip. I LOVE the fall!

Big Helper

Gracie is such a big helper. She loves to help momma while I do things like fold laundry (she likes to unfold it just to help me so much), work in the garden (she love to prematurely pick beans and eat them along with all the dirt she can :), pick up the toys on the floor (she helps by pulling them all back out), and just today she helped me clean the fridge. :) I am so blessed to get to spend all my days with my adorable, beautiful, funny, silly, smart, daughter!

I like to eat eat eat, pears and oatmeal

Gracie has been eating solids for a little while now and she loves it. I feed her probably one meal of solid foods a day and she does pretty good with it. The other day we couldn't get her eat so we let her feed herself...hmmm...looks messy right? She had a ball!

7 months old

Gracie Leigh is seven months old. She is such a wonderful child. We love being her parents and watching her grow. She has taken her first step already and she loves to stand on anything. The month of August was a busy one for us as far as changes goes. Beau got a new job roofing and started school for the fall. Gracie and I have been busy going on walks, crawling around, canning, hanging out with friends, and being together. I am the luckiest mom in the world. Gracie is hysterical. She laughs so hard sometimes that she gives herself the hiccups. Other than that nothing too exciting is happening with us. Gracie has three teeth, crawls super fast, tries to walk, eats like crazy, and is growing so big. She weighs 14lbs and 12 ounces and is 27 inches long. We love her more than words can express.

Our Garden

Here are some pictures of our wonderful garden before, during, and and the end of summer. We have had such a wonderful time watching it grow.
